CEEF: learning that
keeps moving

CEEF provides professional education in physical education and sports training. It first moved from mailed textbooks to a virtual campus powered by Open edX; then, when the March 2020 lockdown closed classrooms, it added live classes on the same campus. Teaching never stopped.

Two milestones, one campus

CEEF’s story with Aulasneo has two milestones: the arrival of the virtual campus and the addition of live classes.

1. 2017

   From mailed books to an online campus

   The challenge

   Distance learners received printed books by mail. Exam answers came back by post or email, for instructors to grade manually.

   The solution

   Aulasneo implemented a virtual campus powered by Open edX. CEEF gradually moved its distance courses online, introducing self-paced learning and automated exam grading.

2. March 2020

   When classrooms closed, teaching continued

   The challenge

   Lockdown closed classrooms. CEEF needed to bring its live teaching online, too, in real time.

   The solution

   Aulasneo enabled live sessions within the campus, helping CEEF continue teaching during lockdown and combining independent study with real-time classes.
