How a dedicated Open edX campus, running on AWS infrastructure with Panorama learning analytics, supported the evolution of an established learning initiative and helped bring water-management capacity development to professionals around the world.
The challenge
A growing mission needed a scalable campus.
Cap-Net builds the capacity of water professionals, educators and organizations in water management and sanitation. Its online learning was already under way, but in 2019 it needed to expand its global reach, and its WordPress-based campus was limiting that growth.
The goal was to redesign the existing campus, moving from a site it had outgrown to a platform ready to support a growing course portfolio and an international community of learners.
